Is it just me or is there something about the summer time that calls for change?! New hair, new clothes, maybe even a new car. Whatever it is, i'm here for it. There's no better way to embrace the summer season with a new do. I mean your hair deserves a fresh feel especially after those cold winter months of frizz, static and crazy wind am I right? Today we are chatting about the best summer cuts, colors and how to care for your hair. Alright, enough chit chat - let's get straight into the good stuff.

First thing that comes to mind when I think summer haircuts is shedding off some major length and going short. If you're a little too attached to your hair and don't want a dramatic cut, why not go for the collarbone lob? With this cut you're still able to tie your hair up, tuck behind the ears and all the stuff you're used to as you would do with longer hair. Take inspo from the picture below! Loveeeeeee...

For those who have long hair and just want to switch up the overall style, go for texture and easy layers! Looks great in the wind and is great for beach days! According to most stylists, this cut looks great on almost anyone especially those who have a natural wave or bend in the hair.

I think that it is a known fact that everyone wants to go lighter during the warm summer months. Aside from your classic shades of blondes, I've seen a ton of copper and warm tones hit the streets of Vancouver and I must say... I'm not mad about it. I actually love those who want to be out of the norm and go for something completely different. Currently in love with ginger tones just like the one shown below!

So if you're like myself and still on that blonde train... then you get me. I love to go light for summer and a little warmer during the colder months. It's just something you gotta do, you know? As of late @hairbycassiebond has been major inspo and major hair goals. I mean just look at that money piece and those tones *hearteyes*
