I love learning new methods that have to do with saving time. As a working mom, I have very limited time and a crazy busy schedule. I'm sure I'm not the only one trying to balance everything! That's why I am so excited to share one particular time-saver I've learned with all of you. This time-saver is my gym bag essentials.
It's 9 am, kids are in school and I have an hour before the salon opens. So while we wait, let's treat ourselves with a nice cup o' joe and some breakfast to nourish our body. I walk the streets of downtown and find this adorable coffee shop near the salon - Pallet Coffee. I end up going for an avocado toast and a long black coffee. It was just what I needed to kick-start my day!
There is definitely nothing cute about split ends and damaged hair that flakes off with a stroke of a hair brush. I've been there myself and trust me, it is not fun. Attempting to style your hair makes it that much harder when the hair feels like crap! My hair was so damaged at one point from a harsh chemical service that I had no other option than to cut my hair shorter than I had originally wanted. But hey, that was a big lesson learned! We're here to hunt down the common causes of hair breakage and what you can do so that you won't need a big chop like I did!
