Hair like new. This leave-in mask heals and strengthens hair with lightweight moisturizing benefits to detangle and keep hair smooth and soft, without weighing it down. Please see dosage chart for exact usage. For best results, use for the first 4-6 consecutive washes following a service, and then every 3-4 washes as needed to maintain hair strength.

HOW TO USE:

  1. Shampoo, do not condition. Towel dry thoroughly.
  2. Begin with 1 pump of K18 Mask and add more as needed depending on the length, thickness, and condition. Work evenly into hair, one pump at a time, from ends to roots.
  3. Let sit for 4 minutes to activate.
  4. Do NOT rinse out. Style as usual.

The 5ml starter size is a 2 application dose for most hair types.

Follow the instructions and you can't go wrong!

I have silver/charcoal grey hair and since I let the grey grow in, I've had to change my hair products because grey hair tends to be flat, and coarse. It doesn't reflect light in the same way pigmented hair does. I have also had my hair permed to add texture and shape now that I no longer colour it and this adds to my hair care needs. My stylist used the K18 mask and hair oil on my newly permed hair and I couldn't believe how silky and shiny it was. I knew I had to buy it.

At home, my first use was a little botched. I forgot to not condition after shampooing. DO NOT USE CONDITIONER BEFORE USING THE K18 MASK and do not use more than 2 to 3 pumps. Three maximum if your hair is long. If your hair is short, one to two. Pump what you need into DRY hands and rub your palms together until they are coated white with the mask. Spend a few seconds doing this. Then smooth your hands over your hair from mid point to the ends and finish by massaging them over the crown of the head to mid point. It may seem like you're not getting enough but trust me, you are. I applied way more than I needed the first time and it was a waste of product. THEN WAIT FOUR MINUTES before applying any other products. AND DO NOT RINSE IT OUT. Once you've waited the four minutes, you can style with any other product. I typically use the K18 hair oil after the mask for sheen and heat protection and that's all I use but you can also put in a leave in conditioner if you want or any other brand of styling product. I also read that the first time you use it, apply for 3-4 consecutive shampoos, then use once every four shampoos.
