Spring Your Hair Back to Life!

I absolutely adore spring! All the beautiful flowers blossom, trees regrow their vibrant foliage and the arrival of spring means that summer is just around the corner. Come follow me along as I walk you through all of my fantastic spring must-haves!

Shampoo & Conditioner 

The Colour Savour shampoo and conditioner from AG are fantastic to use during the warming spring months. The main reason I love using this shampoo and conditioner duo in spring is because it provides the hair with UV protection! The sulfate-free formula of AG's Colour Savour shampoo and conditioner creates a rich and luxurious lather that preserves colour and is extremely lightweight. Did I mention that these products smell like a sweet tropical drink?! Oh yes... we know! Smell is important and this duo certainly won't disappoint!

Blowdry Protector

I've come to realize that my most favourite kind of product when blow drying my hair are the ones that can cut my blow dry time in h a l f! There are two products I've found that live up to that benefit - Living Proof's Blowout Spray is my number one recommendation for people who have medium to coarse hair. This spray allows me to enjoy my hairstyle for twice as long while protecting it from up to 450 degrees of heat. It is super easy to use and helps to shape, set and finish my hair!

Now for anyone who has fine hair like mine they might want to use something more lightweight. That's where Milkshake's Thermal Protector comes in. It has an ultra fine formula that protects against hairdryers and hot styling tools. The airy mist of Milkshake's Thermal Protector acts as an invisible film which prevents split ends and breakage which is basically a bonus! How to use it, you might ask? Just spray it on damp hair from your roots to your ends, comb through and you're ready for styling!

Texture Enhancer

I love a good beachy feel to my hair to give me that  "I just sat on the beach all day and my hair is still fab" look! Say hello to Joico Body Shake Texturizing Finisher. When I want light texture, grit and bounce in my hair I spray this trustee old product. This creates a plush and full look overall without the white chalky residue! Pina Coladas anyone??

Hair Treatment

Once a week I treat my hair to give it some tender love and care (I mean don't we all need that every day anyway?) My go to treatment, which by the way everyone is still raving about is the Olaplex No. 3! This light weight treatment is quick and easy to use. Leave it in your hair for 10 minutes once a week or just depending on your hair type and damage! Want in on a little tip? I love using this treatment overnight for even better and instant results... trust me! I know it's a lot of work leaving it on and all that jazz but when I say your hair is going to feel like a baby's butt - I mean it! 

Shine & Hydration

 I tend to get a lot of flyaways and frizz throughout the whole year so I try my best to tame them but sometimes the frizz beats me! When I feel like I need that extra oomph in my hair, I seriously recommend Olaplex Number 7. It checks off all the boxes as it's your all around multipurpose product that... speeds up drying time, provides UV protection and leaves zero residue. Boo-yah!
