Our Favorite Halloween Looks And The Hairstyle How-To's!

Today we will be featuring one of our stylists from Eccotique Spa and Salons, Lavina Batulayan to show us some of her favorite Halloween looks and how she went about creating it! Now that summer is over, school is in session and we are all back to our 9 to 5 jobs doesn't mean that all the fun needs to end there. When the first day of October hits, we are all about the Halloween vibes! Here at Zennkai and Eccotique, we love creating exciting and classic looks for all of you Halloween junkies to recreate. In today's hairstyle how-to, Lavina has created two simple and easy looks. Let's dive right into it shall we? ⠀

How-To: Section the hair into two and start by creating two dutch braids from the base of the neck and make your way up towards the crown. Once you've reached the crown, twist the remaining hair into a messy bun and pin!
How To: On pre-textured hair, start off by sectioning away the middle. To achieve a faux hawk look, we want to create two cornrows on both sides of the head. You can adjust the length of the cornrow to your liking. Once those are placed with bobby pins finish off the look by teasing the top section of the hair.
