What's in the Kit

Step 1 — System 3 Cleanser Shampoo A scalp-focused cleansing shampoo that removes follicle-blocking buildup — excess sebum, product residue, and environmental deposits — while delivering the active complex directly to the scalp. Salicylic Acid provides mild exfoliation at the scalp surface, keeping follicle openings clear and improving the absorption of the treatment actives applied in Step 3. Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) nourishes the hair root and supports scalp circulation. Biotin (Vitamin B7) strengthens the hair shaft from within, reducing breakage that exacerbates the appearance of thinning. Panthenol conditions the hair shaft during cleansing. Mentha Arvensis (Wild Mint) Leaf Oil and Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil stimulate scalp circulation, delivering a signature tingling sensation that signals active engagement at the follicle level. Cystine Bis-PG-Propyl Silanetriol — a keratin-strengthening silicone-cystine complex — reinforces the structural integrity of the hair shaft, particularly relevant for colour-treated hair where the disulfide bond network has been compromised by chemical processing.

Step 2 — System 3 Scalp Revitaliser Conditioner A leave-on-scalp, rinse-from-lengths conditioner that delivers moisture and conditioning to the mid-lengths and ends without depositing weight at the roots — preserving the volume lift established at the cleanse step. Hydrolyzed Silk provides surface smoothing and shine specific to colour-treated hair, which tends to lose lustre as it thins. Aleurites Moluccanus (Kukui Nut) Seed Oil delivers lightweight emollient conditioning without heaviness. Niacinamide, Biotin, Panthenol, and the botanical complex continue the nutrient delivery from Step 1.

Step 3 — Scalp & Hair Thickening Treatment (Leave-On) The highest-concentration active step in the system — applied to the scalp and hair after conditioning, not rinsed out. Caffeine is the primary active: it penetrates the scalp and directly supports hair follicle function, improves scalp blood microcirculation, and helps maintain the skin barrier that protects follicles from inflammatory signals that contribute to thinning. Niacinamide at a higher concentration than in Step 1 delivers its full follicle-nourishing and scalp-health benefit to the unsealed scalp. Methyl Nicotinate — a vasodilator derived from niacin — further stimulates blood flow to the scalp, improving nutrient delivery to active follicles. The leave-on format ensures these actives remain in contact with the scalp through the day rather than being rinsed away. Cystine Bis-PG-Propyl Silanetriol continues keratin-bond reinforcement on the hair shaft.

Used together at least 3 times per week, the system delivers clinically tested results in 30 days: 85% of consumers noticed a thickening effect, 80% noticed increased hair density, and 80% noticed increased hair fullness (per Nioxin consumer testing).
